About Armstead- Barnhill Foundation
Armstead-Barnhill Foundation is a family foundation committed to supporting sickle cell anemia patients and their families, improving health outcomes for all individuals living with the disease. Since our founding, we have worked to advance sickle cell anemia research and treatment options, while providing holistic support to individuals and families impacted by the disease. We do this through a multi-pronged approach that involves engaging patients and their families, and working alongside our partners in research and healthcare.
As part of the more than 100,000 families in the US impacted by sickle cell anemia, we embrace our unique experience as parents who have navigated this disease since our daughter’s diagnosis in 1993 to support others.
