Armstead-Barnhill is seeking volunteers to solicit donations for its sickle cell charity auction which will be held on Sunday - September 29, 2019.
The auction will be live and online.
Volunteers will contact local businesses requesting donations of goods and services such as electronics, vacations, gift cards to restaurants, and spa treatments.
Auction coordinators will provide tips and suggested wording that can be used to inform businesses of sickle cell and how their support will enhance positive community relations.
